The Stowe ski resort in Vermont is often considered as the premier ski destination on the eastern side of the United States. It has two mountains to ski on, and features the largest vertical drop on the eastern seaboard. It is also one of the only ski resorts in the US that offers visitors a combined pass for the neighboring resorts.
